I have tested it with documents saved as JPEG and PDFs.
For example, a local community Sports Gear Drive came to me by email as an embedded image. Well I needed to grab the text to send out on Facebook. So a9t9 converted the text even with a faint sports photo in the background. It could not handle columns, mixing their text together. It could not handle underlined text. And it could not read very fine print at the bottom of the flyer.
But it was so much easier than typing all the text in. I can't be too disappointed from a free app but my issue was I had multiple pages and it only scanned and tried to ocr the first. The preview windows was in an unformatted form and I still would have to do more work than I wanted to make this document work for what I needed. Maybe at least if it took what I gave it and into a readable format and scanned multiple pages into other formats other than word or text I'd add a star or two.

When configuring the OCR in my Brother control center I need to associate the scanning application but cannot find it when I browse to it. Yet, I can see it in the Start Programs menu.just cannot browse to it.
I know this is me knowing nothing about windows 10 or the Brother MFC-J615W software just not working except it should because its supposed compatible according to the brother website.
