Vm Tools Microsoft Runtime Dll Installer Failed To Complete Installation
I have been attempting to load a Reckon program from disc (I've tried 2 different discs, same program) I get a msg that the program couldn't load Microsoft Runtime, so load fails. I have another Reckon program on my pc, which works fine.

I've also beentrying to download VMware, and get the same issue.' Set-up cannot continue. Cisco dpc3828 manual download. The Microsoft Runtime DLL Installer failed to complete installation'. Microsoft support say I should contact the manufacturer, but Microsoftis the manufacturer and I have the same issue with products from 2 totally different software providers?? Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
For some odd reason when I installed from a network share the update deployed successfully. However when attempting to deploy VMware Tools from the ISO image in optical drive (including other executables as well) I receive all sorts of errors mainly pointing to a permissions issue.
It is apparent that the installation is trying to install to another drive apart from the C drive. I am logging in as an Administrator and have full access and correct permissions to this drive however still end up with this niggling issue. The registry points to the correct path as per my previous post.
